The Dog Haven provides your much-loved dog with a true home from home environment where one of our carers will look after your dog just the way you do!

We are exhaustive in the enquiries we carry out prior to choosing a new member of our team.  We interview prospective carers and inspect their homes to ensure our tradition of a true home from home environment is maintained to the highest of standards.


Our team is caring, loving and completely devoted to our wonderful companions.  We are all fully insured and registered with the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters. As part of the carer’s family your dog will sleep in a warm and secure part of the house, he will have the opportunity to go out for daily walks and socialise with "fellow walkers" and most of all, your dog will feel safe, secure and much loved.

You will need to provide food, bedding, lead and bowl. We provide all the cuddles!

  1. Please complete, sign and return The Dog Haven booking form.
  2. Once we receive all the information about your dog, we are then able to choose and recommend to you in writing, a suitable carer. We will ask you to contact the carer directly and make suitable arrangements for a first visit to take place.
  3. As we are not able to confirm your booking or keep it open for more than 10 days since our original email or letter we ask you that the meeting takes place at your earliest opportunity.
  4. The meeting at the carer’s home will provide the carer with the opportunity to meet her new “friend” and discuss the routine in more detail. From your point of view the meeting will give you confidence, comfort and peace of mind.
Following a successful meeting on both sides The Dog Haven will require a deposit to guarantee your booking. (please read our terms and conditions and cancellation policy)
